Reservations and Revenue Team Leader 🌴

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Remuneration – With potential for growth based on experience.

Working hours

45 hours per week in total.

Shift 1 – 8:00 am – 5:00 pm UK time

Shift 2 – 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm UK time

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Reservations and Revenue Team Leader to join our growing team at our Colombo 7 office in Sri Lanka.

  • Day-to-day management of the reservations team whilst being an active member of the team.
  • Manage reservations, availability, booking types, and parties and manage system, our booking system
  • Set up packages as required and in a timely manner.
  • Third-party website management and liaising with other teams to ensure TCT visibility online is accurate and maximized
  • Implement sales strategies in conjunction with the Ops Director and Marketing team
  • Provide weekly Analytic reports to both management and owners.
  • Analysis of booking segmentations (source-based, direct bookings from our website, booking widget, partner platforms)
  • Ensure an understanding of the budget and financial reports to assist with the development and implementation of key actions required to ensure the achievement budgeted of sales and profit.
  • Check booking patterns do forecasts, analysis, and present useful information to management.
  • To actively participate in departmental meetings.
  • To provide training and coaching for the reservations team and OPS team for all tasks involving reservations, activity bookings, and gift voucher sales.
  • Manage the reservations team roster.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs wherever possible to enhance the quality of service and maximize revenue.
  • Management of the reservations team to include regular job chats and progression reviews.
  • Ensure all correspondence and data input is accurate and timely.
  • Manage all reservation emails and other correspondence.
  • To respond to any other reasonable request as requested.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience leading reservations teams in a hospitality-led business.
  • *Must speak fluent English*
  • Strong focus on revenue generation and business conversion.
  • Proven team leadership skills.
  • Outstanding guest care focus with an open and service-orientated approach to all stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the restaurant hospitality market and our key competitors.
  • Excellent communication abilities and comfortable presenting at all levels within the business, including regular communication with directors.
  • Good financial and business acumen.
  • Experience and familiarity with systems.

Additional Details:

  • You must be able to reliably commute to our office in Colombo 7.
  • Drop-off transportation provided by the company up to a radius of 10km for shifts that end after 10 pm.
  • You will be employed by our Sri Lankan company and paid in LKR.
